At the Cooper Cup, Manhattan varsity crews had a solid finish in the middle of the pack. The Manhattan novice boys went down the course well and some of them had just learned to row. The Manhattan Novice girls siezed the day by taking second place in their race in an exciting battle with the crew next to them. On Saturday the Varsity 4x with Kaitlyn, Courteney, Jamie, and Allison, were first to take to the water in the time trial where they would make their way to the petite final and finish 12th overall in the State.

The Varsity Girls Coxed Four, comprised of four seniors who last rowed States back in 2019 as freshmen, was led by stroke Nicole, Maria, Cinthya, Crystal, and Chayti. Racing in a very deep, experienced, and competitive field, the Varsity Girls Four rowed and raced well during the time trial. Although they did not advance to Finals, the Seniors were able to return to Saratoga for their final race together and leave with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Next, the U17 Quadruple Sculls with Diana, Jolette, Sal, and Mariya performed well during the time trial to punch their ticket to the Grand Final and finish 7th overall in the State.

On Sunday, some of the athletes doubled up and raced again in the U17/Junior Double Sculls event. Mariya, Catie, Jolette, and Diana raced hard and rowed well. All Row New York crews gained valuable race experience and bonded over the joys of regatta life.
