The TCS New York City Marathon is right around the corner (November 6th) and there are some amazing people running on behalf of Row New York. Not only are they running 26.2 miles, each runner also has a goal to raise $2,500 for Row New York. Now that’s something to get excited about!

Today, meet Rob Milam – an avid Row New York supporter and marathon runner extraordinaire.

Rob,

Why are you running for Row New York?
I run for RNY foremost because I love the cause but there is also a match between the discipline and hard work that rowing and Row New York teaches young people and what you will need to train for and complete in a marathon.

Is this your first marathon?
This is my 7th time running the NYC marathon and 8th marathon overall.

Your favorite post race meal?
I am usually on a seefood diet after a marathon – if I see food I eat it!

What is your inspiration (or favorite quote) to keep you going through those hard training days?
I am motivated to train so I can have my best race and you can’t have your best race if you don’t do all of your training!

We think Rob’s “seefood” diet is something we can all get behind. We hope you get behind each of our runners by helping them reach their fundraising goals. Send some love ($) on CrowdRise. A big thank you to each of our runners and all of the Row New York support out there!
