More than just a youth program
Row New York Parents
It takes a village to ensure each athlete succeeds on and off the water, and parents play an integral role in this success. Be a part of your child’s rowing experience and take advantage of parent events, resources, and volunteer opportunities!
Additionally, our coaches really value parents’ input and time and will often reach out to you with updates from Row New York. If rowing is new to your family, as it is for most of our athletes, we can also be a resource for you to learn the sport of rowing alongside your rower. Please stay tuned and respond to coach emails when they arrive in your inbox.

Volunteer in other ways
If you are interested in volunteering with us in other ways, we’d love to hear from you. Volunteers do a variety of activities with us such as participating in boathouse clean-up days, tutoring, and participating in career panels. Email info@rownewyork.org if you’re interested in volunteering with us.

Every time your child makes the decision to sit in our boat and row, they dig deep, push hard, and become part of a team. Rowing builds confidence, and when combined with our academic and college prep program, there is no limit to how our students will go. Our program works––and it depends on the support of our community. With the support of parents like you, we can pull together to help our kids push ahead.
