HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our own Xatziri Ponce and Catherine Rodriguez, RNY Queens varsity rowers who also happen to be accomplished filmmakers! Their first film, “I Am In Love With Her” has just been screened on the main stage of the TriBeCa Film Festival and we could not be more proud. Catherine and Xatziri told us that they applied some lessons learned at Row New York to see their project through from idea to screen: teamwork, clear and open communication, and time management. Two more Row New Yorkers doing good work and making us proud, both on and off the water. Go, girls!
