Row New York will host a family rowing festival on Saturday, September 8 at the Peter Jay Sharp Boathouse. This event will showcase the rowing programs we offer to residents of the neighborhoods surrounding our Harlem River location – the purpose for which the boathouse was originally built.
From 11 am to 2 pm, our staff will be on hand to give tours of the boathouse, offer rowing lessons, and introduce the neighborhood to rowing and its advantages. Games, prizes, and refreshments will all be included.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us for this event. Attendance and all activities are free.
The boathouse can be reached on the 1 train or the A train by getting off at Dyckman Street and walking east on Dyckman to the Harlem River. Join us on September 8 and discover the joys of rowing!

Row New York será sede del Festival de remo en familia el sábado 8 de Septiembre en el cobertizo para botes Peter Jay Sharp (Boathouse). Este evento exhibirá los programas de remo que ofrecemos a los residentes de los barrios, en los alrededores de nuestra ubicación en el río Harlem, con cuyo propósito se construyó originalmente el cobertizo para botes.
Desde las 11am hasta las 2pm, nuestro personal estará a la mano para dar excursiones en el cobertizo para botes, ofrecer lecciones de remo y presentarle al barrio el Remo y sus ventajas. Habrán juegos, premios y refrescos incluidos.
Todos son invitados y bienvenidos a compartir este evento con nosotros. La entrada y todas las actividades son gratis.
Se puede llegar al cobertizo para botes en el tren 1 ó el tren A, al bajarse en Dyckman Street y caminar hacia el este por la calle Dyckman hasta el rio Harlem. Participe con nosotros el 8 de Septiembre y descubra la alegría del Remo.
