Row New York finished out the Fall Season on a strong note, medaling this past weekend at the Bill Braxton Memorial Regatta.

Most notably, the novice four came in first place with boat-lengths of open water in the Women’s HS Novice 4+ event with a time of 6:38.40. The novice four defeated Convent of the Sacred Heart, Rye HS, St. Marks HS, and Patriot.

The remaining Row New York boats also finished competitively–the Varsity four made it to the semifinal where it placed fourth (time: 6:05.37), defeating Holy Spirit and Mount Saint Joseph A, both of which are know to be very fast programs.

Race 30f Women’s HS Varsity 4+, Heat 6
Row New York C placed 4th out of 6 with a time of 6:27.92 (did not advance to semifinal)

Race 5d Women’s 4+ Flight 4
The Row New York Coaches’ boat finished first place, earning a gold medal, with a time of 5:44.86.

Race 26b Women’s HS 4x Flight 2
Row New York place 6th out of 6 with a time of 6:22.15.
