Last Wednesday the Row New York team enjoyed a visit from Susan Lyne, Chairman of Gilt Groupe. Ms. Lyne, escorted by Row New York board member Emily Keeton, toured the renovated Meadow Lake Boathouse, chatted with the girls, and observed practice. The athletes Ms. Lyne met with saw firsthand a woman whose many career successes and accomplishments serve as an empowering model for their own efforts on the water and academically.
Row New York was pleased to honor Ms. Lyne at our fundraising event the following evening. We thank her for her leadership on behalf of New York City’s girls and women.
